History on Every Wall
Formerly Jackson's News Stand from 1946 to 1993, our space blends the charm of yesteryear with modern sophistication. The centerpiece bar is built from salvaged glass windows and topped with quartz, a nod to a New York-style news kiosk, and the walls are lined with Ohio newspapers from bygone eras.

bellefontaine's gathering place
A Restaurant Worth the Drive
The Syndicate is a Bellefontaine restaurant built inside the 1946 Jackson's News Stand, serving hand-cut steaks, scratch pastas, Sunday brunch, and craft cocktails at a bar made of salvaged glass. Out back, The Backyard hosts live music in downtown Bellefontaine all summer long, and our team caters weddings and events across Logan County. Locals call it date night; visitors call it the reason to take the Main Street exit.
